Making a Historic Building Green
The World Food Prize Hall of Laureates has been awarded the prestigious LEED Platinum rating by the U.S. Green Building Council for leadership in energy efficiency and environmental design. It is one of only a handful of buildings in the country designed in the 19th century on the National Register of Historic Places to achieve this level of energy efficiency.
